Starting Tuesday, the Florida minimum wage has been increased to $14 per hour. In addition, the minimum wage for tipped employees has been increased $10.98 per hour.
According to the Florida Commerce, on November 3, 2020, voters approved a state constitutional amendment to gradually increase the state's minimum wage each year until it reaches $15 per hour on September 30, 2026.
After reaching the $15 per hour cap, the minimum wage increase will resume in 2027, with adjustments made annually to account for inflation.
