WINK News Security Analyst Richard Kolko shared an update on this week's Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers' fugitive list.
Each Wednesday, WINK News highlights three wanted fugitives. This week, one of the fugitives was Willie Douglas, who had previously pled guilty to drug charges.
Douglas was sentenced to community control, a more restrictive form of probation similar to house arrest. However, Douglas violated the rules and was wanted by authorities.
Thanks to a viewer who recognized Douglas from his old mugshot on WINK News and made the call, he is now in the Lee County Jail without bond.
Trish Routte of Crime Stoppers said, "It was all because someone watching WINK made the call."
