Good news for those with outdoor plans...rain chances are low today with just a few storms possible this afternoon.

Drier air aloft will allow for plenty of sunshine overhead throughout the day.

Sunday

We do it all over again for your Sunday, with highs in the low 90s and sun and clouds.

A few storms could pop up in the afternoon again, but for the most part, we stay dry.

This week

The first day of fall is on Monday, but it sure won't feel like it! Highs stay in the low 90s to kick off the upcoming week.

Rain chances return with scattered storms, possibly each day due to tropical moisture working its way back into the forecast.

Beach and boating

A warm day on tap with breezy conditions at times will lead to a nice beach and boating day.

Bo4ating Forecast AM Weekend.png

Winds are out of the northeast around 10 to 15 knots with a light to moderate chop in the bays and inland waters.

If you're headed out to one of our beautiful beaches, get ready for lots of sun and low rain chances.

Tropics

Tropical Storm Gabrielle continues to churn in the central Atlantic.

Good news: This poses no threat as it is going to stay far away, curving away from the United States. It may become a hurricane over open water as it passes east of Bermuda later this weekend.

Aside from Gabrielle, we are watching a tropical wave that has a low, 20% chance of developing this upcoming week. It's in the eastern Atlantic and is disorganized right now.

We will continue to watch all things in the tropics, but right now, all is well!
